BWL has developed a comprehensive distance learning program, BWLOnline, which goes into effect on Monday, March 30th--the first day following our spring break, when students would normally have returned to the building. Beginning on March 30th, online learning will take place in all three divisions. You will receive information from the Division Directors about the day-to-day schedules and how to access additional resources. Below are important links and tools for each of the three divisions. In addition, the Business Office has provided a new way for parents to send tuition payments and fees. Everyone in the Business Office is working remotely during this time of social distancing and is available by email.
The faculty, administration, and division coordinators are also available by email to answer any questions you may have, as families begin utilizing the resources associated with BWLOnline. By the beginning of April we will also provide answers to your Frequently Asked Questions on this page.
To simplify the process of making payments to the School for tuition and fees, and for deposits for 2020-21, we have added a 'Tuition Payment' option to the "Support BWL" section of our website for credit card payments. There will be no extra charge to make payments via Support BWL. Under "Note to School" on the payment page, please give us the name of the student for whom you are paying, and whether it is a payment for the current academic year, or for next year (2020-21).
You may still continue to mail checks to BWL, but because mail pickup at the School building will be sporadic, we will not be able to confirm that your payment was received right away. FACTS families will continue to pay through the FACTS plan as usual.
We hope that you are keeping well and safe. Alma Diaz (firstname.lastname@example.org), Fazeela Bacchus (email@example.com) and I are all working remotely and are available for the duration of the school closure by email to answer any questions, or give you any assistance you may need.
Teachers will send assignments home via Eboard which is a website where teachers can post assignments and lessons. Each grade will have an Eboard that will contain Homeroom, Math, Reading, World Languages, Library, Music, Gym, and Art - Science and Computer Science have their own eboards. The links to these eboards are listed below.
