Parents Association
The Parents Association is an enthusiastic force that supports the mission, efforts and goals of the BWL administration, faculty and student body.The Birch Wathen Lenox School is fortunate to have the involvement of dedicated and committed parents who enhance the relationship between home and school. Upon enrollment, all parents are granted membership into the Parents Association. With membership comes the opportunity to serve in parent leadership positions, such as committee chairs, class representatives or event volunteers.
The Parents Association plans, develops and organizes fundraising events throughout the year. These events range from holiday fundraisers, to spring and book fairs, to bake sales and other activities that bring the community together and benefit the School. Individual committees focus on the community at large and developmental concerns of parents on a grade level basis to ensure the emotional, physical, and social well-being of our students. These committees range from Parents in Action to the Diversity Committee to the Joint Schools Committee.
All families of the BWL community are also responsible for participating in the School's Safety Patrol program. We promote the involvement of all parents in school activities and appreciate their ongoing participation.
