Upper School Concentrations

 

Academic Concentrations
Academic concentrations will allow our students to chart their own academic journeys, providing a dynamic, hands-on approach to learning that prepares them for both college and the professional world. BWL Seniors earn this designation by taking a series of courses, and participating in hands-on experiential learning or competitions or completing a final project or performance. Students who complete the required coursework in the Arts, Environmental Studies, Robotics, STEM, Healthcare, Writing, Entrepreneurship, or Constructive Dialogue will have the appropriate designation affixed to their diploma.

Program overviews, including course requirements/descriptions, are located on Concentration Profiles. These profiles are sent to colleges as an attachment to the counselor recommendation for each participating student. The concentrations and their requirements are listed below.
