2018 Book Fair
Thursday, May 17th
Friday, May 18th
We hope you are getting excited for the annual Book Fair! We are featuring a fabulous selection of books, including STEM favorites recommended by the BWL faculty and a wide variety of summer reading choices.
This year’s Fair will provide our children with the opportunity to meet these incredible authors:
  • Sandra Markle: Author of more than 200 science and nature books for young readers including: What If You Had Animal Teeth?, The Case of The Vanishing Golden Frog, and Inside Dinosaurs.
  • Gavin Brown: Gavin Brown’s work includes Josh Baxter Levels Up, a Kirkus Reviews “Best Book of 2016”, Spirit Animals, Blindscape, 39 Steps, and other video game books.
  • Robin Newman: Robin is an incoming BWL parent and the author of the Wilcox & Griswold mysteries and Hildie Bitterpickles Needs Her Sleep, an American Booksellers’ “Best Book.”
  • Gwendolyn Javor: Gwendolyn’s “Absurdimals” series is about a group of animals who represent the diverse and changing faces of society that help teach children about independence.
Join us at the Book Fair to shop, visit with friends and classmates, and most importantly support the BWL community. Book Fair volunteers are needed! Please look for the link to signup genius in the PA blast. Look for the Fair on the BWL website where you will find summer reading lists, credit card forms, and library donation forms. Class Visiting Schedules will be distributed before the Fair.
