On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, The Birch Wathen Lenox School will host its Annual Spring Gala at the Pierre Hotel. The evening will feature cocktails, dinner, music, and both live and silent auctions. The Gala Committee is busy creating new and exciting auction opportunities for BWL’s premier fundraising event.
We invite you to join us as Early Gala Supporters. All responses received by February 9, 2015, will be given recognition on the formal invitation, which will be sent out in March. The names of the Early Gala Supporters will also be printed in the evening’s auction materials.
Supporting the Gala through your attendance, contributions, teacher sponsorships, auction donations and the purchase of auction items directly impacts the School. Gala contributions enable BWL to continue to provide excellence in education, supporting our state of the art technology, advanced science programs, the arts, athletics, and a wide range of exciting academic programs. The School is dedicated to its commitment to STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) education in all grades. With the STEM Initiative, BWL seeks to meet the evolving needs of the 21st Century students. By emphasizing the fluent use of technology, expanding the curriculum and enhancing lab opportunities, the School looks forward while reaffirming its traditional mission and commitment.
New and exciting to this year’s Gala, the School will introduce a technologically enhanced event that will feature electronic leader boards, bidding kiosks and hand held tablets as bidding devices. These features will allow families and corporations to underwrite aspects of the Gala through tax deductible donations.
